Situation: One or more shrimp is abnormal, injured, unresponsive or dying.
Observe first: Count affected, unaffected, dead and missing animals and check oxygen, temperature, measured water, recent inputs and exact body findings.
First action: Stop a known continuing exposure when safe, stabilize measurable system hazards and preserve clear observations for qualified help.
Record next: Record onset, denominator, water and method, recent changes, photographs, behavior, deaths, isolation and response to each action.
Stop boundary: Do not diagnose or dose from a photograph, nickname or single sign. Escalate when mortality continues or welfare is deteriorating.
