Situation: You are considering fish or other animals with a shrimp colony.
Observe first: Define whether the goal is adult display or juvenile recruitment and record species, size, habitat, shrimp life stages and exit capacity.
First action: Prefer shrimp-only conditions for recruitment; if evaluating coexistence, establish complete counts and a humane removal plan first.
Record next: Record adult sightings, injuries, deaths, missing shrimp, berried females, hatch observations, retained juveniles and feeding access.
Stop boundary: Do not publish a universal safe-fish list or treat visible surviving adults as evidence that juveniles recruit without predation.
